If you’ve never stepped into a sea kayak before, our Level 1 Sea Kayaking course is the perfect way to begin your journey.
We offer a range of courses tailored to various interests.
The Level 1 course typically covers
- How to safely launch and land your kayak
- Basic kayak control and paddling techniques
- How to assist others in getting back into their kayak after a capsize
- The basics of weather forecasting and planning a kayaking journey
The coastline around Vulcano Island offers easy access to sheltered coves with gentle waves, making it the ideal location to match the group’s skill level. If the conditions at sea are too rough, we’ll explore one of the many beautiful, protected spots in the area, allowing you to build your confidence on the water while enjoying a memorable experience.

Our standard 2-day course is packed with essential information and expert coaching to help you develop new skills and gain valuable knowledge. You’ll have the chance to enjoy classic sea kayaking around the beautiful island of Vulcano.
On our 4-day course, you’ll dive deeper into the world of sea kayaking. You’ll plan trips and launch from a variety of remote locations around both Vulcano and Lipari. Each day offers a unique experience that you’ll remember for years to come.
