6 Days Sea Kayaking Expedition
at Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Panarea e Stromboli
with Snorkeling & Hiking
This tour offers different versions depending on the season, weather, ship availability, and participants’ preferences. The distance ranges from 40 nm (4 islands) to 60 nm (5 islands). The most complete version includes the circumnavigation of Salina, a kayak crossing from Stromboli to Panarea, and the exploration of Panarea’s smaller islands.
We start with the circumnavigation of Vulcano, discovering its stunning caves, natural pools, and thermal waters hidden among the rocks. Weather permitting, the journey continues towards Salina, either along the west or east coast of Lipari, with its towering stacks and the many hidden surprises along the way. A thrilling 2-mile kayak crossing will take us to the lush and green island of Salina, where we’ll explore its coastline in part or in full.
We’ll then transfer by boat to Stromboli, where, depending on the season, group skill level, weather conditions, and available boats, we’ll spend two days kayaking and hiking between Stromboli and Panarea. The journey concludes with a return boat transfer to Vulcano, arriving around 18:30 on Thursday.
Hiking:
In the afternoons, there’s the exciting possibility of hiking on active craters or exploring other hiking trails on Vulcano and Stromboli, depending on volcanic activity. This adds a unique touch to the adventure.
