Requirements:

Our kayak trips (2, 4, or 6 days) are designed for sea and adventure lovers 🌊 

Good general health, the ability to swim, and an adequate level of fitness to paddle between 6 and 10/12 nautical miles per day are required, immersed in spectacular scenery, and participants must also be willing and suited to engage in outdoor activities. Some experience with sea kayaking (sit-inside) or participation in a basic course is recommended, to enjoy the journey more safely and confidently. The difficulty level depends not only on distance (measured in nautical miles), but also on elements that make each tour unique: coastal morphology, logistics, and weather conditions, which vary by season. Tours are group-based, with departure and return from Vulcano. The itinerary and daily stops may be adjusted along the way to ensure the best possible experience, based on weather and ferry schedules. 👧 Children from age 10 are welcome if accompanied, and only in double kayaks.

Meals and drinks, alternative accommodation to bivouacs (except for the 1 night in Stromboli apartment included in the 6-day tour), personal and kayak ticket for the ferry between islands (From € 25 p/pers. per trip where and if necessary it will depend on the program), deckchairs, umbrellas and showers during the trip and anything not indicated in the “Included” item

A shared cash kitty of €50–100 per person will be collected at the start (the exact amount depends on tour length and ferry tickets required). The kitty is managed by the group. It is used to purchase ship tickets (where necessary), as well as some meals and gas cylinders for cooking and eating together on the beach. Please note that this fund may not cover all meals during longer tours. Therefore, we recommend budgeting extra for additional meals or personal expenses.

Photoshoot: 

It will be possible to have a photoshoot during your tour.

Please note:

The detailed program will be given upon receipt of the deposit. It is recommended to plan to stay on the island of Vulcano at the end of the 6-day tour.  We may adjust schedules or itineraries last-minute due to adverse weather, ship time changes, or safety concerns at the discretion of the kayak instructor. Departure and return are from our base on Vulcano Island. August departures: +10% surcharge

Cancellation Policy:

– For cancellations made at least 15 days before the activity, a voucher equal to the full amount paid will be issued. The voucher is transferable and can be used in the following years for any activity, with no expiration.

– For cancellations made within the last 15 days before the activity, a voucher worth 70% of the amount paid will be issued. This voucher is also transferable and can be used in the following years for any activity, with no expiration.

– In the event of cancellation by Sicily in Kayak (due to bad weather or force majeure),  a full refund will be issued. Alternatively, guests may choose to receive a transferable voucher of the same value, valid with no expiration for any future activity. The voucher can also be given to third parties.
