There are two ways to explore Vulcano island: by speedboat or slowly by sea kayak. The first lets you pass by the treasures; the second lets you fully experience them.
Starting from Levante with fins and mask, paddle towards Punte Nere, where lava flows created picturesque coves. Continue to stunning Ròia cove, filled with colorful caves to explore by kayak or swim. Each cave offers unique beauty: soft algae carpets, rusty-red velvet rocks, and warm water streams.
Just before “Schìcciula” cave, discover a hot mineral pool – the perfect remedy after cave exploration. Refreshed, continue to Punta Quadrara, where you’ll find a small cove, a large rock porthole, and a tunnel. Accessible only by kayak or swimming, the tunnel leads to a small cave with surreal green-blue light, emerging on the other side.
After crossing the tunnel, you can head back or continue to Punta Bandiera on the Full Day tour.
